ABOUT
FC Stunners is a youth "off-season" club based in Roselle IL. We are a club that is dedicated to bringing FUN back into the game. We are not affiliated with any leagues thus our kids play on different travel clubs and come together during off times to play at high level tourneys and games. We specialize in "off-season" 3v3 play and futsal. We enjoy the game, play, and hang out any chance we get. The clubs main focus is building friendships while competing at high levels, not making money. GO STUNNERS !
Our History
Stunners is a Futbol (soccer) Club which was founded by 3 really good friends that wanted to continue playing soccer after their unfulfilled soccer “careers”. They called the rest of their friends and joined an open league at the Odeum in Villa Park IL in 2001. They have been playing there ever since. They had seasons that were very successful and less successful but as time passed by FC Stunners has become a known name in the area. As we got older and started having kids, we began forming youth teams as FC Stunners so our sons/daughters can carry the name. We started playing Futsal and 3v3 tournaments. Our kids started doing very well and the club started to gain traction and fame as an elite 3v3 and futsal “off-season” club. We now play top 3v3 and futsal leagues around the area. Our teams have made in to Nationals and won multiple tournaments in the last couple of years. BUT, most importantly, our kids are FRIENDS first and players 2nd. GO STUNNERS !
Our Mission
Our mission is to bring FUN back to soccer for kids. As kids are playing travel soccer we seem to forget that this beautiful game was meant to be about fun, creativity and playing with friends. We only "train" during off-season and our training involves playing games with minimum coaching input. We let the boys make own decisions, be creative, mess around a bit, but always with the ball at their feet. The results have been astounding as our 3v3 teams are ranked in the top 10 in the nation year after year. Our kids look forward to "practices" and stay after to play even more.
Accomplishments
We do not put stress on accomplishments at this age level, but maybe that is why we our kids accomplish so much:
2017 - 09's finished ranked 16th in Nation out of 233 participating teams. making a good appearance at 3v3 Nationals in Nashville TN.
2018 - both 09s and 10s are ranked 7th and 6th in the nation respectively. Both making the FINAL 8 at 3v3 Nationals in Memphis TN.
2019 - 09s finish the season ranked #20 in Nation and 10s finish the season Ranked #8 and make the Final 8 at Nationals second year in a row!
